Marie is a Finnish-Australian soprano. Her roots lie in Finland, but as a young woman she journeyed to Australia, where she completed her secondary and university studies in Melbourne.

Marie has performed as a soloist with The Melbourne Opera Company and has appeared with Victorian Opera in Australia. Beyond Finland, her concert engagements have taken her to stages in England and Spain.

She is also an accomplished breeder of Burmese cats, having run her beloved AuroraAustralis cattery for over twelve years — a testament to her devotion to beauty and refinement in all its forms.
